ExpoWalk — terms of use
Last updated 6 September 2026 · ExpoWalk is run by Akhil Mittal, Ambala, India · info@expowalk.app
ExpoWalk is a free planning tool for visitors to trade shows such as IMTS 2026. By using it you agree to these short terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What you get
A browser app to plan booth visits, walk the halls with a map, record booth conversations, scan visiting cards and paper notes, and have them turned into text by Google's Gemini AI — either with your own Google API key or, for the first 100 signed-in users who agree to be contacted, with a limited free allowance paid for by ExpoWalk. The allowance (currently 25 recordings, 300 scans, 8 hours of audio per user, within an overall budget) can be reduced, paused or withdrawn at any time without notice, for example when the budget is used up.
2. Your data and your responsibility
Recordings, photos, transcripts and minutes stay on your device and never reach ExpoWalk; see the privacy page. That also means you are responsible for keeping them safe — clearing your browser data, losing your phone or uninstalling the browser deletes them. Export or email what you want to keep.
You must obtain the consent of everyone you record where the law requires it (Illinois, where IMTS is held, is an all-party-consent state), and you must not use the app to scan, store or process anyone's personal data unlawfully.
3. Exhibitor data and maps
Exhibitor names, booth numbers, categories and short descriptions are compiled from the public IMTS 2026 exhibitor directory (© AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology) and hall layouts are redrawn from the official floor plan, for your personal visit planning only. They may be incomplete or out of date; always check the official directory at directory.imts.com, to which every exhibitor in the app links. ExpoWalk is an independent visitor tool and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by AMT or IMTS; IMTS is a trademark of AMT. If you are the rights holder of any content shown and want it changed or removed, email info@expowalk.app and we will act within 48 hours.
4. AI output
Transcripts, minutes and card details are produced automatically by an AI model and can contain mistakes — wrong names, numbers or commitments. Check anything important against your own notes before acting on it.
5. No warranty, limited liability
The app is provided "as is", free of charge, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ExpoWalk and Akhil Mittal are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the app, lost data, AI errors, or the app being unavailable — including during the show. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, share your free allowance token with others, attack the service, or use it for anything unlawful. ExpoWalk may block accounts that do.
7. Account
Signing in is optional (only needed for the free allowance and emailed minutes). You can delete your account and details any time by emailing info@expowalk.app; ExpoWalk may delete inactive accounts after the show.
8. Changes and law
These terms may be updated; the date above shows the current version. They are governed by the laws of India. Questions: info@expowalk.app.
